Panama Railroad

As the Panama Canal is a waterway to cross the continent from side to side, or rather, from ocean to ocean, there is a terrestrial alternative to this route. Although less known than the Canal, the Panama Railroad offers a train journey, whose starting point is the City of Panama and the arrival point is Columbus, a city on the Atlantic coast. Best of all, the trip takes 90 minutes so you will not spend your whole morning sitting on board, and views that will travel along the beautiful landscapes of postcards will both channel and tropical forests. The train leaves from the capital in the morning and return of Columbus afternoon.
